To me the data on which this was based was prone to self reporting bias of the worst kind. My understanding from the conversation piece was that respondents were asked to place themselves on a scale of 1 to 10 from extreme left(1) to extreme right (10). Not met many people who don't describe themselves as middle of the road! Even if I think they're rabid Nazis.
Perhaps Green party members think of themselves as left of centre and Reform right of centre.i.e honest!
