Not exactly. There are people who think earth could be a seed planet started by aliens. But there's no reason we would need to be a different species. They could have used their own genetic material. It's a pretty far out idea, but one that could be a fun twist. Maybe they just wanted to recreate their own natural history as a museum piece 😂
