A lot of it also needs to be about not spending billions on stupid projects. We know a lot of what we need to build, and we know how to build it cheaply because Ukraine has been building and deploying it at speed. So for once a lot of our investment is actually product lines for existing aerial, land and naval drone systems, shells and ammunition.
Plus we can save a load by telling the US where to shove its now useless trident systems.
