Yesterday morning, my thinking prior to leaving for church: Hm, things have been going well with leaving Lu for a few hours while we're at church.

Lu (thinking): I'm done being a good girl for today.

*Myself and Hubby checking on Lu via camera before church starts, note that kennel door is somehow open and Lu is nowhere in sight*: 🤨🤔😒🙄

Upon returning home, we find she managed to not only get out of her kennel, but poop outside her diaper on top of my heating pad (thankfully the diaper caught her pee), which was folded up on the floor near Hubby's couch. Commence him freaking out (he is a germaphobe, and barely handles having the dog around at all) while I try desperately to balance Lu being terrified out of her mind while he yells at her and clean up the mess.

No way he would allow me to just clean and wash the heating pad, it had to be thrown out and then he was pissed the rest of the day, insisting the house smelled like dog poo even after I sprayed everywhere and lit a candle.

I really hate Sundays.
