i guess thats the case on any or many other types of conferences as well. Its really sad. This should be called out more often.
I guess there are always people who assume, just because many others agree with their opinion on bitcoin, that they obviously must also share all other opinions.
I personally find it ridiculous to see all the narratives about carnivore diets, christianity/bible stuff, traditional views on marriage and kids and so many others - as if bitcoin needs any of that.
It might as well be an attack - a campaign - maybe even folks paid to go and associate bitcoin with plenty of narratives most people dont want to associate themselves with and thus stay away from bitcoin. This is really bad and sad and i hope we can successfully "fight back" and/or convince ppl who are actually into what i mentioned above to tone it down for the sake and importance of bitcoin - because it unnecessarily divides or prevents many from joining the important cause of bitcoin
