my synology broke because of their shit PSU - i had it on a UPS so it kept turning itself on and trying to update because it was connected to a UPS.
I'm not paying another $600-$1000 just to stream video in a nice way.
i'll just chunk up my stuff by genre or year and have more subfolders to speed up godawful CIFS/SMB
