I believe that this is probably the most logical thing. In a war like this both sides wants the third regional player, Saudi, on their side. And it is certainly not below Israelis to do such thing; nothing below their morals anyway.
The only reason Iran would hit Saudi is to pressure them to pressure the US to stop, but that's a very bad gambit.
Other GCC members would make sense to use this gambit on, not Saudi.
