At such low voltages, voltage drop over that sort of distance is going to mean quite an efficiency hit. Unless you use really thick cable. Which is expensive. Or run things at a much higher voltage (now you have extra risk assessment concerns)
It's probably a good time to dispell perhaps one of the misconceptions many will have about this install. That the power it generates can power the trains. These solar panels are going to be generating electricity in the 100s of volts range at best.
