If node software only works on one version, that's a pretty sad situation. I mean javascript is so standardized there's no UB, and js code from the 90s still works the same today.

But anyway, I do occasionally want to ship a bundle of stuff which has some dependency on some NuTech using python/node/mongodb/etc poop and just slamming it all into a docker is really the most convenient way to deliver it.
