I'm really tired of the idea that to make great art a filmmaker must demand inhuman levels of effort from his underlings. If that's what it takes, you're doing it wrong. That's fucking bullshit.
If all of your workers are completely exhausted & spent at the end of the day, "broken" as Pattinson put it, something has gone very wrong.
Everything else aside, that is not how you should treat your fucking employees.
