And in both cases, virtually everyone was equally wrong. Luke and Core are both trying to fuck over Bitcoin relatively easily, Luke for more Patreon/Github sponsors gibs and Core to enrich their friends via VC, but neither has a viable solution to revitalize Bitcoin. Similarly, LN was just as dumb of an idea as large blocking. Perhaps even dumber, though in the defense of many early supporters it was not obvious at the time.
