These people are going to make common cause with right-wingers who want to end public education and then they’ll do a surprised Pikachu face when we end up with high-quality education being only for the rich or the lucky, with everyone else in shoddy unregulated private schools or fundamentalist religious schools or *maybe* patchy homeschooling. Or they’ll get nothing.
