I'm still a little dubious on Signal since it's centralized. The people running it seem to have a good head on their shoulders but it being centralized means it's an easier target for legislation. Although if Matrix is the alternative then, uh, yuck.

Bluesky might end up being okay but ATProto is still pretty new and untested.
