Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt that any USA folks I follow here voted for the mobster.
And there are many more USA folks who didn't. All my American friends fall into that category.
The profound transformation happening right now has drawn comparisons to the rise of Hitler in the 1920s and 1930s. It also reminds me of this Hemingway passage:
