Context: My ISP switched my line from DSL to Fibre last night without having send the corresponding hardware. After talking to 3 support agents in the morning they were going to get back to me, which they didn't. So I called again, spoke to three more agents until finally I got one who l told me straight up that they've fucked up. However, he then stated that the current "status" doesn't allow him to simply send me the hardware. The new connection has to be activated and only then can I put in an order for the new lease-hardware.
So I had to buy one and the things are like €200 a pop.
