There is a moment I have been preparing for.
Not dramatically. Not with a countdown.
Just quietly, in the background, while life kept moving at its usual pace.
I took the first step.

A hot wallet. A seed phrase written by hand.
A small amount of Bitcoin moved off the exchange for the first time.
It worked.
And something shifted when I saw that confirmation.

Not excitement exactly.
More like: oh. This is real. This is actually mine.

But I am not done yet.
The next step is the cold wallet.
The hardware that keeps the keys completely offline.
Away from every screen, every connection, every vulnerability.

I know what I want.
I know what needs to be done.
The only thing standing between me and that step right now is time and resources.
Not knowledge. Not courage.
Just the ordinary friction of a life that keeps moving.

But the direction is set.
And later this year, I hope to take that next step surrounded by people who understand exactly why it matters.

The first key has been placed.
The ceremony is not finished.
