All of these don't seem like they kill the lighting network as you described. Most of it is just chaos during the chainsplit scenario which is going to be just as chaotic on layer 1 as lightning. I think most people are aware as this point not to move funds around activation time because of no replay protection. I am considering closing my lighting channels soon before activation so reduce complexity, but again, this will only last till chainsplit over and we have a winner
