and that's also why a shrill pitch isn't required to get the message across. showing how the pattern is common across historical examples should not just land on the most notable and spectacular. it should show how the same pattern recurs across the entire rubric of history.

doing this gives people the mental tools instead of a slogan to chant and a banner to hold. the banners and slogans are part of a game that the people who control the distribution of information are able to leverage all of that to the detriment of your purpose. tehy either paint you as crazy, or they use that anger to point the commoners at actual people who are working to take away the cage.
