As a poker player, I would express myself primarily through my betting, and almost never through my voice.
After quitting three years ago, I would get nervous when speaking in front of a group of 4+ and had trouble clearly articulating myself with confidence. I knew it was something I wanted to improve.
Three years later, somebody today told me I’m a natural after taking my upbeat vinyasa class. I smiled and said thanks knowing deep down it’s not true.
It’s obvious to me that you can make your weaknesses your strengths if you are willing to work little by little everyday.
Small progress compounds massively.
