The only beep I had on the drive was the “you’re speeding” beep, because I set it for 110km and so when actually driving at 110km it would periodically beep when the cruise-control let it creep up to 111. I need to find out how to change that.
No other bleeps or dings. (If I used the satnav, it helpfully bleeps every time you enter a new suburb, which around Brisbane is less than good).
