whether a kind of rhetoric would convince you does not (or rather, should not) depend on what exactly the rhetoric is about, it depends exclusively on its abstract logical qualities
therefore "already being convinced" is entirely irrelevant, you can trivially infer whether the same *form* of rhetoric would convince you of any other idea
