I have an mk3 that I bought in 2021. I secured my stack with it for 2 years. After increasingly growing paranoid, and seeing the public spats between coinkite and foundation, I decided to move to a multisig setup. The 2nd seed was generated on a non-coinkite device. Slept better since.
Woke up today very glad that I diversified my custody setup. Don’t fall in love with brands. Bitcoin is a constant lesson in decentralization.
The irony of it all, coinkite advertises sleep like a baby technology.
