The bees working very hard to maintain hive temperature in this heat. They will also be fanning in the hive and spreading water around too. The hive has to be kept around 36⁰C for brood rearing. The adult bees will die in the mid 40⁰C. And then of course their colony is made of wax and if it gets too hot it will all melt.
