"content": "My interest in fungi started in June, 2001. when Stacey and I rented a farmhouse in Meredith, New Hampshire. \n\nOne soggy morning we woke up to the most brightly colored mushrooms EVERYWHERE. Later we found the only bookstore in town and bought the only mushroom guide they sold. \n\nWe spent the week collecting and trying to ID each one. Not surprisingly, the bright red Russulas were the best in show.
