Years ago I remember loosing a friendship when I found out one my friends downloaded terabytes of torrents for decades without even once contributing by providing uploads of what he downloaded (not once in over 20 years!).
I explain to him that he was a parasite and that is behaviour is exactly what "does not allow us to have good things", you cannot just take without also giving. He just didn't give a shit
