abolishing bonuses for executives would be a useful first step. That money could instead be spread evenly amongst all employees. Since all created the profit, that seems fair to me. It might encourage some starters to stay if money is their main motivator, but I'm guessing it would help sort the good from the "in it for themselves" very well.
