However, because of my semi-eidetic, I seem to be able to remember not only what I read in books, but also what I've read or posted about online. I suspect that repetition is part of why that works with me -- that books I most remember are ones I've read more than once and / or taken notes about in a class. If I read or watch something once, it doesn't always *stick* -- but I've always had that problem.
