I think that's a matter of perspective. A woman that has a child and doesn't want to be a mother is disappointing for sure. A woman that wants to be a mother and can't is probably pretty devastatingly discouraging.
Compared to either of those two, a woman that has no children and wants no children is only discouraging to the man that wants to plant his seed and is refused.
