Listen to the Arch Independent Podcast episode on Epstein. I actually now think Kash Patel, Bongino and Trump when he said it was a hoax were telling the truth. Not that Epstein didn't do a lot of what he was alleged to have done, but not at the behest of governments or intelligence agencies. When he was asked in August of 2024 whether he'd release the files Trump said he'd do it, but in a very non-committal way. Maybe afterward they claimed they'd do it as it surely reonsated with voters, but it wasn't a huge part of the campaign. And the warmongers seem pretty disappointed in the scope of the Iran conflict.
I just think "He's owned by Putin" "Israel controls him!" "He's being blackmailed with the pee pee tape!" is so tired at this point. We should just judge him on his performance like any other president. Let's see how the Iran fallout plays out. Better or worse than the status quo ante? Once we find out that's the basis for the evaluation.
