no big problem, I have emacs and git on "my" profile. I loaded it in the project. Instead I should consider either having git from the package manager of the OS.
I usually also use .envrc for credentials so I might source another file from it.
None of that is "big issue", I feel guix has a lot of different way of doing similar idea and we night need to find a "good" opinionated way.
