What I would have given for such a magic machine then.
Even so, sometimes the smartphone feels like a ball and chain. Other times, it feels like freedom --
- to almost never be lost
- to help me understand the world
- to find things I need
- to seek knowledge I am missing.
But above all for me, the internet has meant friendship with people all over the world. It gave me the confidence to know I was more than my social rank in my secondary school.
