The problem with people who reduce and dismiss anything deemed "conspiracy theory" is the shear naivety.
While sometimes it has to do with an unbreakable emotional attachment to believing a comfortable narrative that conforms to a soft and cozy world view, it always boils down to an inability or a refusal to accept the lengths that some people are will to go to control everyone else.
