Curious also.
My location shows up near Ft. Wayne in IN... and I have to reset Zip to get it back on track if I want to get info for local area.
This is due to ISP is wireless and it sees their office location as the IP location.
For knowledgeable folks (few) --- they'd use TOR or VPN tool.
For regular folks... guess if it matters to them, they will learn something new.
