He bought Twitter because "freedom of speech", and then it turned into "freedom of speech, but no freedom of reach" when he hired that WEF lady.
"Freedom of speech, but no freedom of reach" = Scream into the void so we can build your social credit score (your Good Goy ranking).
But to be certain who the identity behind the account is, they need to KYC you, and these no-account Twitter web-viewers had become a problem.
(KYC for your safety and your children's' safety, of course.)
If we exclude the "Monetization and policy" subsystem (because these social media platforms are really just the government, and not businesses), the remaining 3 main subsystems are:
1. Identity & graph
- Who you are (accounts, devices, emails, phone numbers, cookies, IPs).
- Who you're connected to (friends, follows, DMs, groups, co-commenters).
- What "cohorts" you belong to (interests, demographics, inferred traits).
2. Event firehose
- Every micro-action is logged: scroll, dwell time, clicks, likes, shares, comments, hovers, zoom, pause, replay, mute, skip.
- Every content object is logged: text, hashtags, URLs, images, audio, video, metadata (language, location, topic).
These logs are timestamped and tied back to identity & graph.
3. Ranking & recommendation
A stack of ML models takes the event firehose and predicts:
- What you're most likely to engage with right now,
- What will keep you from closing the app,
- What content keeps you inside "acceptable" narrative bounds.
Everything else (likes, retweets, stories, reels) is just UI on top of these engines.
This is why they don't like these no account, Twitter web-viewers.
I remember when the AI bubble being the AI governance build-out was a conspiracy theory (6-9 months ago). Now it's pretty much consensus.
Even the normies now know that data centers are really just surveillance centers.
On a more positive note, they wouldn't be spending all times time and energy on propaganda if our situation was helpless.

Twitter and Elon Musk are actually the government.
They don't usually let things 'slip' or make silly mistakes.
You can write a 5-minute test to ensure that something like this doesn't happen when rolling out these features (and they have).
They want you to talk about this account being supposedly run out of Israel (which is possible, but nonconsequential) and not talk about the stealth digital ID rollout.
Before you know it, they're gonna ask you to full-on KYC for reach, and every non-KYC'd account is going to get throttled into the abyss.
It's not very important whether Israel is running the Homeland security account, what matters is the upcoming AI governance regime that these platforms are slowly implementing.
I'll write more on what AI governance is but you're seeing the implementation of "Content provenance":
- C2PA-like (Coalition for content provenance and authenticity) signing at OS/camera/browser; unsigned content rate-limited or downranked.
- CDN filters: provenance + policy tags required for distribution at scale.
Everyone knows how poisonous Israhell is at this point, but the coming AI governance regime is what they don't want you to talk about.
