I bought a domain.
I'm thinking it's a second-level domain, but it's not really exciting since it's only registered for a year (I bought it on 8/14/2026). I used a promo code, so it was free, free of charge and tax, literally.
The setup was pretty straightforward. All I had to do was redirect my free default domain to my domain provider through the DNS settings in the domain dashboard. Yeah, setting it up was easy, but it took quite a bit longer for the DNS to resolve.
Well, it doesn't really make sense to say I "bought" it when I got it for free, does it? Thanks to someone in the group for sharing a promo code. A free domain is a free domain, lol. I'll probably renew it for a longer term before it expires.
