Any time I see a conflict I see three things.
1. Emotional turmoil - These events can't happen when everyone's nervous system is calm. Current events could be fanning the flames, but unresolved personal blemishes are the fuel.
2. Communication breakdown - When nervous systems are imbalanced listening trends towards zero and personal attacks take over the conversation. Immaturity and accusation become the main mode of discourse.
3. Philosophical divide - Different parties have different objectives based on their personal values and assumptions. When these are not addressed in a transparent manner the discussion devolves further from truth in each interaction.
This could be, 'to a hammer everything is a nail' scenarios, but given the current trajectory of discorse it might be worthwhile for everyone who is upset about node implementations to do some self reflection and reframe their approach.
