I don't understand why some people can't just enjoy being here. Tips are only a bonus.
When you join platforms like BCHNostr, the way to get tipped isn't by begging or constantly tagging users who are known for being generous tippers.
The best approach is to engage genuinely, make friends, and stay consistent. We all started as newbies, and the struggle is usually only at the beginning of the journey. As you continue putting in the effort, you'll build real friendships and meaningful connections. Eventually, people will start appreciating your posts without you ever having to ask for anything.
Constant begging and unnecessary tagging only make you come across as entitled, as if you're owed something.
If you've been tipped by any of the generous users here, be grateful. And whenever you see others getting tipped by those same people, be happy for them instead of feeling envious.
The bottom line is simple: have fun, enjoy your stay, keep posting quality content, and share whatever is on your mind, as long as it doesn't violate the platform's rules. Getting tipped is just a bonus, and it's often most rewarding when you least expect it.
I don't receive huge tips here. Maybe it's because I don't talk much about BCH, or maybe my content just isn't that interesting. Either way, I don't let it discourage me because I still receive 0.01 BCH almost every day.
Maybe it's just not my time to shine yet. Until that day comes, I'll keep sharing my thoughts. And who knows? One day, someone might come across one of my posts and decide it's worth spending their BCH on. ☺️
