Corbyn stepped down after he lost the election in 2019. He lost that election because he was foolish enough to let Starmer et al manoeuvre the party into opposing Brexit. It turned out, and who could have guessed, that the British establishment preferred colonialism and austerity to Corbyn's milquetoast anti-atlanticism and Keynesian economics.
Sure Trevor Chin put up some money and is an odious man. Except at a level of detail that is so fine grained as to be mere gossip, Chin (and the Labour Friends of Israel) are irrelevant.
Blaming a few individual Jews for US imperialism is like blaming Epstein for the sexual abuse of teenage girls. (Hint: it is a patriarchal culture which idealises the 15 year old girl as the epitome of sexual desirability)
