If you give ChatGPT too complex of an edit job and force thoroughness with your directives it will time out after 30 minutes of work and break the message stream.
I had to start a fresh chat thread and tell it to break the current job into three phases to be performed in separate edit passes.
Limitation of working in a chat thread. IDK if codex has the same work time limit or not.
