The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved a rule change for NYSE Arca, paving the way for options trading on commodity-based trusts holding multiple crypto assets. According to official documents and a report by Crypto Briefing, the new regulation stipulates that each crypto asset within a trust must have an average daily market capitalization of at least $700 million over the past 12 months. Additionally, these crypto assets must be associated with derivative markets with which NYSE Arca has signed market surveillance-sharing agreements.
