A wholly centralized solution isn’t too great long-term admittedly, but Umbrel actively promotes decentralization at a gradual pace as you get used to managing individual pieces of software in an eas(ier)y manner.
I’m not aware of any apparent issues with their products or software aside from the potential centralization concerns and the lack of power to run certain things OOTB (unless individual hardware components are upgraded).
