that is fantastic. we were the NWT’s first non-telecom ISP (Snowshoe Inn Micro)… quite literally a motel that also ran a gateway 2000 store 🤣
you just reminded me that we were constantly at war with NorthwesTel, trying to lease a full T1 which they would absolutely not do. the best we ever managed was dual isdn, served over microwave towers 50km apart. the latency was absolutely insane for customers.
