So I asked about crony capitalism vs socialism because fundamentally they are a government imposition onto free markets. I understand people want to argue about intent, that socialism is to help people. But structurally they rig markets to move resources from one section to another. They create new winners and losers that wouldnt otherwise be.
I'm interested in what you think the distinction is though. Why do you think a policy like government healthcare would be better than what the us has right now?
How would you do ubi or really any social programs without taxation? If its not putting more tax burdens on the rich do you want a different tax based on race?
