i think semantics can be a divisive thing. men can suffer under patriarchy and feminism can help men aswell. i dont see it as a restriction but i can understand semantics can be a divisive thing. jk rowling or alice schwarzer (racist german feminism frontier) have terrible views and a view on society which was progressive in 70s) (tbh more referring to Schwarzer here than JKR, i dont understand the whole UK transphobia discussion). if thats feminism, i am against it. If feminism means empowering men and women despite gender roles im all for it. empowering males to become kindergarden teacher for example or talk about feelings. feminism is not normalizing women slapping their partner in a fight.
