switch 2 seems to have fixed the WiFi problem. I tend to play my system docked and wired and I've had little to no issues online so it actually 100% seems to be in the hardware side of things. 5 hour Mario kart with 3 friends and no disconnect was pretty cool. Most people seem to use wifi.
I had to get a wired adapter to play on my switch original, splat was pretty much unplayable over wifi.
I'm one of those hard wire types who always prefers a direct connection over wireless.
