If you like YouTube content but don't want to give your info/data and time to Google, I've used Newpipe on Android, Invidio.us on the web, and FreeTube on Linux, and PlayLet on Roku. You can import your playlists etc. to those as well. They don't have the YouTube in-roll ads, and the last two options also have Sponsor Block which lets viewers skip over creator's ad reads (if the video is very new, it might be you who sets the times to skip).
