I'm honestly staggered why you'd think that a bible would provide protection. Was Jesus the son of God? Was Muhammad, the prophet? Who'se right? Fight wars, kill each other, all in the name of righteousness. Given the area, they'd have likely all been majority Buddhists. Buddhism has, at it's core, suffering. So no, there was likely no bible in that house, it was just as the video says, a well built house!
