Tough day at Bitcoin Beans La Reserva Cacao farm, big storm came in last night and took down a few big trees which sadly split some young cacao trees in half.
4 years of hard work wiped out over night!
Sometimes nature feels cruel, but the flip side is more light is coming into the space which at this stage of the plantations life is necessary.
Every cloud has a silver lining and it could have been far worse given the size of the trees that came down.
Being a farmer is not an easy profession, the amount of energy required to keep the ship afloat is incredible, every day on the ground taking care and doing whatever is necessary to co-curate with Mother Earth in the most sustainable and efficient way. This is permaculture!
It isn’t easy creating a permanent culture!
