It's worse but it has nothing to do with Brexit, its a time issue where retarded governments overtime will write retarded laws regardless of them being needed because something 'must be done' about x thing. So they write a stupid law and the thing to fight x thing has y consequences.
If anything its better there was Brexit just so we can pin the blame directly on them instead of them blaming some EU directive which in the past may or may not be the source of the retarded law.
