No. It isn't. You don't need all that for small group chat.

You only need a big team if you expect it to scale to those levels. What you do need is someone who understands how to build the backbone of something that can expand and some way to finance it, as that doesn't come cheap.

That's most of the reason why we haven't seen that stuff.
